Let’s Celebrate: Top Quarantine Fun Birthday Ideas
Everybody who knows me know that I love a birthday celebration. I use to take a trip to Atlanta, get glammed up and put on nice outfits to enjoy the city for the weekend.
My birthday is less than three days away. Giving honor to God, if he blesses me with life to see another birthday I’m going to enjoy it to the fullest. I’m not going to let the quarantine put a damper on my special day and you shouldn't either. I’ve come up with some top quarantine birthdsy ideas that you can surprise your friends and family with on their birthday
Send the birthday person a card in the mail. It's the thought that counts especially in these times of social distancing. The birthday person will feel loved and the card will make a great keepsake.
Make a “ Happy Birthday Video Birthday Montage. There are plenty of videos you can use to make your montage. This is a perfect time to research and try different apps while we are in quarantine. I use vivavideo app to create videos from my pictures for different occasions. You can make the birthday person a video from your photo collection. This will be great to send to them via text message and Facebook by tagging them. Another service is Tribute. According to goodhousekeeping.com you can ask your friends and family to record their birthday wishes and Tribute will put them together and mail the guest of honor a video card.
Order the birthday person some goodies from your favorite local bakery. This is a great way to support your local businesses during this pandemic. Have the sweet gifts to be delivered to their home on their birthday. This will be a great surprise.
Host a virtual birthday on Zoom. Step outside the box and set up a surprise virtual birthday gathering. Invite all the participants first, then invite the birthday person last, so everyone else can sing happy birthday to he/ she. This will be great for at least an hour. Everyone can chat, do a toast ( applejuice for me, lol) and show some birthday love.
Do a drive up birthday salute. Deck your car out with balloons, gifts, goodies, etc. Surprise the birthday person by calling them and tell them to look outside. After they come outside, yell “ Happy Birthday” and present he/she with their gifts as you practice social distancing with your mask on.
Guys, I love all of these ideas, it's the thought that counts. The pandemic has altered our plans a little but do not allow it to keep you from being happy and celebrating.
