Cancer is a broad term for a class of disease characterized by abnormal cells. Breast Cancer is caused by damage cells. No one knows the exact cause.
A tumor is a mass of abnormal tissue. Abnormal tissue in the breast is atypical hyperplasia that is a precancerous condition that describes an accumulation of abnormal cells in the milk ducts and lobules of the breast.
Two main types of breast cancer are invasive ductal carcinoma and invasive lobular carcinoma. Invasive ductal carcinoma starts in your milk ducts and spread to nearby breast tissue. Lobular breast cancer which starts in the milk producing glands in your breast and often spreads to nearby breast tissue.
Metastic Cancer when cancer cells of a malignant tumor spreads to other parts of the body, usually through the lymph system or by using the blood stream and form a secondary tumor.
Knowing your family history is important when determining breast cancer risk. If one of your parents has a BRCA mutation, you have a 50% chance of inheriting the mutated gene. A person could be considered at risk of BRCA mutation if they have a family history of

Based on CDC.gov and the U.S. Statistics Breast Cancer 272, 454 new breast cancers were reported in females and in 2022 42, 211 females died from Breast Cancer.
