Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence is defined as the ability to perceive, use, understand, manage and handle emotions.

Do you have high emotional intelligence? Are you able to recognize your own emotions and the emotions of others? Can you discern the feelings of others?

The benefits of having emotional intelligence are:

Self Awareness - The ability to understand your triggers, your likes and dislikes, and being knowledgeable about your strengths and weaknesses.

Self-Regulation- Being accountable of your actions, using self control, having discipline, and managing emotions.

Internal Motivation- You will have the ability to use your motivation towards success.

Empathy- You can reflect on the impacts your actions might have on others.

Social Skills- Help you to deal with challenging situations and develop interpersonal relationships. Empathy helps to resolve conflicts and strengthen communication.
