Three Things To Help You Have A Gratitude Attitude

November is National Gratitude Month. According to Sharon Austin gratitude means more than saying thanks, it is a deeper feeling of satisfaction and appreciation that fulfills and nourishes from the inside out. It takes consistency to have a grattitude spirit, it doesn't occur over night. In the past I thank God for what I call the “big blessings”, such as getting accepted into college, getting my driver's license, getting hired on a new job, etc. I didn’t thank God for what I call the simple things, but the older I got I realize these are major blessings such as: being alive and healthy, enjoying family and being happy. When I changed my mindet and got closer to God my attitude changed and I became more grateful. I will like to share with you three ways to have a gratitude attitude.

Everyday I take out time for myself to praise God which makes me happy and hopeful. I feel more inspired when I pray and have some alone time.

2. DISPLAY ACTS OF KINDNESS

We should be kind to people on purpose. It doesn't hurt to greet someone, hold the door open for someone who is behind you, putting a smile on your face when you don't feel like it, or saying something nice about someone in their absence. Each day I show acts of kindness on my social media by posting a video uplifting and encouraging people to do their best. You can use your social media to post a quote of the day and to inspire others.

3. FIIND WAYS TO GIVE BACK.

We all know someone or know of someone who is in need, why not do something to help Some of us are too fortunate and are in a position to give back. The majority of cities or towns have a salvation army or clothing bin drop box. You can help by getting rid of your clothing or shoes that's buried in your closet and that you don’t wear. Be intentional in giving and don’t respect anything back in return, you should be proud to be in a position to help others. I love getting rid of old things because I see it as making room for new things. I enjoy helping others it gives me joy. These are just a few things that will help you to have a grattitude attitude .Thanks for stopping by if you haven't already check out my podcast AprilChatz on Anchor, Spotify Radio Public, Overcast, and Breaker.
