Have you ever wondered how you would function if there were no technology, electricity or no form of communication for 48 hours? Let's put ourselves in this state of mind for a moment. What would you do and how would that affect how you function or operate.? Has having everything at our finger tips caused us to be ungrateful and impatient?
Alot of us rely on our cellphones, tablets or computers for almost everything. How many of us buy a magazine or book instead of reading an online article? Are inspiring authors waisting their time writing a book. A lot of manuals and instructions are imported online as well as contracts etc.
If you decided to unplug or get off the grid, social media will be a great place to start. Unplugging a day or two from social media gives you time to clear your mind, engage in something more constructive and focus on self-care.
You can benefit by being off the grid by enjoying nature, getting outdoors, exercising, breathing in some fresh air. It's been proven that natural sunlight boosts your mood, and improves your health. Personally, I would like to try camping outdoors one day to add to my list of new experiences.
I encourage you all to try unplugging from technology a day or two for a new perspective, be creative before you get off the grid plan all what you want to do and how you're going to do it. You will thank yourself later.
