Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
What you do tells alot about you without you saying a word. I love expressing myself and allowing my creativity to speak for me. Some of the comments I get from others are: I'm hard working, creative and smart. I assume they say these things about me because I put out good content, I dress neatly and I keep my home and car clean. What are you giving off? What do you think people are saying about you behind your back. I've come up with five things that tells alot about your character without you saying a word they are:
Showing Up On Time - A saying I heard from one of my professors in college is “ If You're early you are on time, If you're on time, you're late” . You want to show up on time, it's a good look especially if you have an important meeting to attend, or if you run a business.
2. Listening To Others: Remembering your spouse, friend, family member's favorite food, movie, color, etc. gives you brownie points. Surprising them every so often or giving them a just because gift of their favorite things is a great gesture and it shows that you are kind person and a great listener.
3. Wall Art- Art is an expression and your decor tells alot about you and your taste. People can learn alot about you based on your wall art or how clean your office, car and home is.
4. How You Spend Your Money- What you spend your money on tells people where your values lie. How you spend and what you do with your money tells alot about you as a person.
5. Your Friends - The circle you're in tells alot about you, your beliefs, your likes and dislikes. It you want to change for the better, align yourself around others who will motivate you to move to the next level.
