Listening to music is one of my favorite things to do. I like southern rap, r&b,gospel rap and regular gospel. My favorite artist is Cardi B, T.I. Trina, Rick Ross, Mary Mary, Erica Badu, just to name a few.
Lately, I’ve been listening to this southern rap artist 1k Phew. His music has a great hip hop motivational sound. I like his song “ Back Then”, I love the beat in the song and I like watching the video. I like his video because it shows the rawness such as the neighborhood he grew up in and the local people.
Studies show that music helps put people in a better mood and get them in touch with their feelings. I can attest that is true, if I’m feeling down and I listen to some crunk or gospel music I begin to feel better and my mood begin to change.
Music helps with exercising, it motivates you to work harder. Studies show that music increase endurance during a tough exercise session.
Soft music improves sleep quality. Research has found that listening to music at various times promotes better sleep patterns for people.
Music decrease stress and increase overall health. According to liveforlivemusic.com, music has a direct effect on our hormones. If you listen to music you enjoy, it decreases levels of the hormone cortisol in your body, conteracting the effects of chronic stress.
As we all know listening to music has some great benefits.. Let’s enjoy some music while we're at home to get our mind off of everyday stressors. Let’s keep this party going, drop down in the comment section and tell me what's your favorite music you like to listen to.
Shout out to the artist 1K Phew, and I do not own the rights to the music of the videos that are posted below.
