Online Shopping is the norm and its convenient. You dont have to get dressed up or leave your home. I must admit once I got the hang of shopping online it was a wrap, I enjoy it and I know some of you do too. Its crazy now we can buy almost anything online from food to cars.

As you all know there are many advantages to shopping online It saves you time, you can shop at any time of the day, and it saves a trip to the store.

Some of the advantages that I learned about shopping online are: online stores offer lower prices and bargains that will help you save money, we can use the internet to compare prices, we can use online coupons to help us with our purchases, we can use the store or merchant website to learn more about the product we want to buy,there are no pressures while we are shopping and online stores has increased variety meaning you can choose items that suits you and the budget you are trying to stay in. Now since we got the advantages down pack let’s look at the disadvantages to online shopping.

Personally, each time I’ve done online shopping I had success I haven’t had any bad experiences but it's good to be privy to what may go wrong so we can avoid it. These are the disadvantages of online shopping: online shoppers can not physically inspect or try on the product, we can not negotiate the prices, we don’ t know if the site is a legitimate store and is it safe to shop, we cannot talk face to face with someone if we have a problem, the item you bought may be back ordered and you don't find this out into weeks later, you may be charged for restocking and shipping costs and on returns.

After listing the disadvantages it seems scary, but don't get discouraged there are some good merchants that are honorable. You have to do your research, ask around and talk to others about their experience before you do an online purchase.

These are helpful tips I would like to leave with you if you are considering doing online shopping or if you are currently an online shopper they are: make sure you are choosing a store that have simple returns and guarantees your money back if you are not satisfied, make sure the online merchant has three componets: sales, deals or coupons to help you save money, know their return policy ( are you responsible for the shipping cost or does the store cover the shipping cost if you want to return your purchase,) does the store have a guarantee policy in place to offer your money back if you are dissatisfied, and check the ratings to see if the merchant has a good reputation for honoring its guarantees.
