"What The New Me Would Tell The Old Me?"

Have you've ever wrote yourself a letter of promises or looked back over your life and wished you’ve done things a little differently when you were younger? As we become more mature we see life differently and some of us take our lives more seriously, than others. Some of us strive to be better because we want more out of life or we are tired of struggling, settling or selling ourselves short. I wrote this blog as an encouragement to others and to let you know that you are not alone. These are a few things I would tell the younger version of myself…

  1. I would tell myself to make better financial decisions and to think about all possible outcomes before making commitments.

  2. Don’t second guess good decisions, overthinking can leave you stuck.

  3. Trust God and the process

  4. Expand my knowledge… Study and read a variety of books.

  5. Don’t react without thinking things through.

  6. Don’t put things off, do what I can do on today.

7. It’s OK to put myself first sometimes, a little TLC goes a long way.

8. Feed myself spiritually, engage in things that will build my faith, increase my hope and that will give me more momentum to keep going.

9. Speak my mind more, and stop caring what other people think about me. My voice matters and it needs to be heard.

10. Lastly, I will not live in a box. I will wear my hair and clothes the way I like it. I won’t care about giggles, stares, or frowns I get from a hater. I will try different food, styles and live bold. We're designed to shine and that’s what I’m going to do moving forward.

I appreciate you guys for stopping by, while you're here check out the other stories on my site. I will love to hear from you, feel free to leave a comment about your thoughts. Come back and visit.🥰
