What's In Your Supply Disaster Kit? (Top Important Items You Need In Your Home In Case of A Disaster or Lockdown.)
Have you ever thought about the lives that could of been saved or how we could of maintain a sense of normality if we had the proper survival kit in storage?
As you know some disasters leave us without electricity or water, we need certain things in our posession to help us to survive until things are back to normal.
I've come up with some important items you will need to help you be more comfortable in the midst of a disaster.
Outdoor stoves( you can purchase one of these from any local hardware store, Lowe's, or Amazon which is good for cooking,and boiling water.
Iodine tablets to sanitize your water before use
Bleach to sanitize objects
4. Ferro rod to start a fire for a regular grill and to stay warm
5. Fully stocked First Aid Kit ( gauges, bandages, alcohol pads, gloves.etc)
6. Emergency radio or walkie talkie
7. Gallons of water enough for each family member
8. Buckets and a shovel for pottying and to dump and bury the waste and urine.
9. Medicine for children and adults and prescription medications
10. Extra bedding and sheets for cold weather
11. Sleeping Bags in case of extremely cold weather and if you're without electricity
12. Duck tape is versatile and could be used to tape up windows or for a quick repair to stop a leak.
13. Aluminum Foil to cover food and for grilling.
14. Pliers and wrenches if you have to repair or assemble something.
15. Books to read to your children for fun and to take away anxiety.
16. Generator to use when its extremely hot or cold and for cooking. People use their generators at night due to the darkness and to create a sense of normality.
