Self Care Hacks

How are you taking care of your self? Do you spend lots of money on self care products, leisures, trips , etc? Self care should be incorporated to aid with decreasing feelings of being overwhelmed, stressed, depressed or sick.

One of my self care hacks is to keep a to-do list of important things I need to complete. Keeping a to do list frees my mind of overload of trying to remember everything off the top of my head. Also it helps me to stay productive.

My self care hacks are: enjoying the little things, shopping on clearance racks, dressing up, taking drives, watching my favorite shows, doing my hair,,talking to my friends, and going to church.

Self Care is vital to our growth and development. These are a few things that you can do take care of yourself and your needs.

Prioritize Sleep:

Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night. Establish a relaxing bedtime routine and create a sleep-friendly environment, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

Engage in regular physical activity, even just a 30-minute walk daily, to improve mood and overall health, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

Schedule "Me Time":

Set aside specific times each day for self-care activities, even if it's just for a few minutes, according to Rest and Digest.

Get Outdoors:

Spend time in nature, soak up some sunshine, and enjoy the fresh air.

Digital Detox: Limit screen time, especially before bed, and unfollow social media accounts that trigger negativity.

Declutter: Organize your workspace or home environment to reduce stress.

Sunlight: Make time to get outside and soak up some sunshine.

Set Boundaries: Learn to say no to things that drain your energy.
