My Skin Care Month Edition: Using Foundation to Enhance Your Beauty

I myself love self care, self love, enhancements and working on being the best you. I always wanted to empower others especially women to feel and look their best. I was privileged and blessed to have strong female figures in my life to help me feel good about myself, even in my flawed skin and other imperfections. None of us are perfect but we can glow in whatever image God made us. I feel blessed to share and to help teen girls and other women to feel and be beautiful inside out. I would like to celebrate the month of July by taking care of my skin and enhancing the beauty within. Disclaimer: I'm not a makeup artist these are basic tips I use to cover up my imperfections and to get glammed every once in a while

4.Use your fingers to apply your makeup, not a sponge. A makeup sponge sucks up a lot of face makeup and you will end up running out of makeup much sooner. A sponge is used to retouch makeup during the day or evening.

5. Apply most of your makeup at the center of your face. This is the area where it’s most noticeable. Apply your foundation, beauty balm, and color in the center and blend outward toward your hairline, jaws and ears Then go over the area again using a foundation brush back and forth. This forces the makeup and skin to mesh together for a perfect finish.

I am no way a makeup artist but these are simple techniques you can do yourself at home to cover blemishes, spots or other skin imperfection. We're human so we don’t have to let or flawed skin stand in the way of our beauty. I’ve embedded a video below to help us beginners to apply our makeup correctly.

How do you apply your makeup? What are some brushes and tools you’re currently using? Please comment below. Thanks for reading, I appreciate you all, and stay beautiful. ❣
