Coronavirus Chronicles: Fun Things To Do While Social Distancing
Hello, we must keep the fun going, our peace of mind while we're going through this pandemic. We must not dread the process instead make lemonades out of lemons. Now we're experiencing life how it use to be before the new developments, the fancy resorts, the state of the art museums, live concerts, amusement parks etc. How did our great grandparents survived and still had quality of life. If they did it so can we. I’ve come up with 4 tips on fun things you can do while social distancing.
You can create your own video of you and your family interacting, dancing, singing, playing a game, cooking, etc. This will be great to have in your collection and to watch later at family gatherings, or to share with your close friends and family. This also will be great to pass down to the next generation.
The current is a great website for people who love music, news,and entertainment. Due to social distancing we are not allowed to go to live concerts but we can watch it via live stream by visiting www.the current.org. This is a good way to stay connected with our favorite artist and listen to some good music.
Go outside in your yard or neighborhood take a stroll with your family while avoiding large crowds and staying six feet away from your neighbors. Getting fresh air and moving our large muscles is good for our health and it also can prevent cabin fever and becoming bored. While you're outside you and your child can play basketball, or other sports, run, and just enjoy nature.
Stay connected, talk to your friends, and family. There are multiple ways to do so by: face timing, making video calls, or just picking up the phone and talking to them the regular way. Relationships doesn’t have to stop because we're not face to face. Studies show people live longer, they are happier and healthier if they have interaction with others. Use this time to check in on your family, the elderly, and friends. People will appreciate you more and this keeps the morale going.
Socializing enjoying life, finding creative fun things to do while we're social distancing keeps us up beat and we will be much stronger when we survive this. Be safe, begin to enjoy your family, stop dreading, be creative, broaden your horizon and find something fun to do.
