My Faith On Fleek ππ½π
What is faith? The Christian definition of faith is believing for something you did not obtain yet.
Faith is applied when something is out of reach or if something is challenging. If something is easy to obtain you wouldn't have to use your faith. Think about a time when you really wanted or needed something but it was a challenge or it felt impossible. How did you react in that situation?
Pictured above are colleges I graduated from. It took alot of faith and work for me to obtain my degrees. I wasnt on any scholarships. I depended on financial Aid. Staying organized, being attentive and following deadlines were vital in me completing my Bachelor's and Master's degree. Setting boundaries and having a balance is very important to achieve anything. At that time setting boundaries was difficult for me. It was hard for me to tell people no. Having no boundaries and an unhealthy balance can lead to burn out and failure.
How do you keep going when things look impossible? What gives you motivation? How were you able to overcome obstacles?
As for me praying, and believing in God has gotten me through times of uncertainties. I remembered applying my faith as early as highschool. Highschool was a difficult time for me socially and academically. I personally believe that your progress has alot to do with your confidence.
I'm a believer that you cant build your faith by believing in something just one time. You have to use your faith on small things on a daily basis. When babies are learning to walk they don't give up when they fall. When they fall, they cry, get up and try again.
These are some things you can do to increase your faith
Create a faith wall or a faith journal that is visible that you can recite often
Practice attitude gratitude
Celebrate other's accomplishments and wins even when it's not your turn
Dont compare your life with others
Remember the last time God worked it out and came through for you.
Stop fixating on the negatives and past failures.
Start and end your day with prayer and positivity.
Get rid of people, things and places that's holding you back.
Stop complaining and start strategizing
See yourself as a winner instead of a victim
