Instagram is a great tool to promote your business, engage with your audience, increase your sales, to become more visible and much more. I love using Instagram because I get to promote my blog and my business for free. I use Instagram to share my story to engage with my followers and to network. I also have lots of support and engagement on Instagram. Instagram has cool features such as reels, IG TV, and stories for you to promote your brand or business.
I have over 3,000 followers on Instagram and it took work and time for me to grow my following. I follow influencers, business owners, and other prominent people that inspire me. Promoting and creating content constantly has doubled my following in a two month period.

Choose An User Friendly Instagram Name- Try choosing a name that is close to your brand. Don’t add numbers or special characters to your username, try to keep your name in line with your other social media handles you have already so you can be easily found.
Post Your Content At A Consistent Time. I try to post on both of my pages everyday to keep my audience engaged and to increase my following. After learning more on sproutsocial.com, I’ve learned that the highest engagement time is between 7 to 11 p.m. and the lowest engagement time is between 4 to 9 a.m. Since I changed my posting schedule, I've seen a difference in my views and likes.
Get Your Partners and Your Brand Advocates To Share Your Content. Connect with larger influencers and customers so they can post your content on their social media. Make sure you have great pictures, videos of value, also make sure you don’t come off too pitchy.
Avoid Fake Instagram Followers - Don't trick people into following you and do not buy followers. You want your following to be genuine supporters, and you want to avoid your account from being suspended, or terminated.
Last But Not Least - Showcase Your Instagram Everywhere,- Link your Instagram account to your website and make sure it is listed with your other social networks i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest just to name a few.
