Happy Mother's Day: My Mother's Day Went A Little Something Like This….

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and mother figures. My day was peaceful, surprising, and enjoying. I enjoyed this day because I got everything I wanted and I’m enjoying life more each and every day, with that being said My Mother's Day went a little something like this:

This morning I slept in like a baby. I went to bed after 1 a.m so I needed the rest. I had uninterrupted sleep because my two year old was knocked out as well which made my sleep peaceful.

I slept until the phone rung at 9 a.m. My grandmother, following my father called me to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. The phone calls brought me joy. I would like to give a special shout out to my grandmother Louise Burgess Weaver, and my father Kinder Burgess. I have a special spot in my heart for all the elders in my family.

My brother came by to surprise me with a card, a balloon and my favorite old fashioned poundcake. I wasn’t expected it which made it special. I'm a big kid, because I still love surprises.

I watched my church program on the youtube channel. I honor Sundays by dedicating a part of my day to God. I enjoyed the Mother's Day Sermon which was much needed.

I got dressed to go to my Inlaws for a Mother's Day Dinner. We ate crab legs, shrimp, and steak. Bon Appetit.

I had a great Mother's Day. I'm grateful for being alive and healthy. I appreciate all the Mother's Day Facebook shoutouts, and private texts and calls. I appreciate the gifts from my husband leading to this day. I hope all of you had an eventful day, again Happy Mother's Day. I’ll talk to you soon. 🥰.
