Fall 2020 DIY Centerpeice Ideas

I'm excited Fall is here, the holidays and festivities are approaching. I can't wait to see what this season has to offer. I'm also excited about the holiday cheer and being able to enjoy it all with good friends and family. I feel the holidays brings out the best in all of us, because we become more giving, and we're tapping into our creative side. This time of the year I love going into retail stores to see all of the decorations and displays and I love to watch the hoilday commercials and the hallmark channel to see the latest trends and decor for the season. Basically, I love the hype. As I'm taking it all in, I'm visualizing how I want my home to look. I also use pinterest as a resource to get ideas about various arts and crafts that I can do myself and to save money, as I was looking on pinterest I saw three DIY centerpiece ideas that are inexpensive and that will make your dining table to pop they are: plaid, floral and wheat. These will make great centerpieces for the upcoming months and going into the new year.

Plaid- Let's bring that old thing back, dress your table in plaid. Plaid gives me a farmhouse breakfast in bed vibe. I love plaid. Use lots of plaid to create a well dressed table.

1.Before putting down your plaid, choose your silverware and dishes you want to use for your table.

2. Put down your plaid runner( any color of plaid of your choice) that matches or compliments your dishes and silverware.

3. Place strips of plaid on top of your plate, then add your saucer, place your tea cup on top of the saucer. Place your fork on the left side of the plate and your knife on the right side .

Fall Florals- autumn colors such as : orange, green, brown and red will bring that fall and Thanksgiving feel to your home. Green plates, saucers and cups and gold silverware will make the floral stand out.

  1. Put down an orange table runner

  2. Set your fork to the left and your knife to the right.

  3. Put your green plate in the middle of the fork and the knife. Add your saucer and cup on top of the plate to make the set complete.

  4. Lay some floral stems around the plate set or put some floral in a large glass to place in the center of the table.

Wheat Centerpiece- A wheat centerpeice welcomes the fall harvest. Wheat can be found in Hobby Lobby, Walmart or any other craft stores.

  1. On your table you can set down shot or wine glasses, on a place setting, place your wheat in the glasses.

    2. Make a bow around the wheat glasses with any color of your choice.

    3. Place a tall glass with a white candle inside the glass to place in the center of your table.

You can switch out your table throughout the holiday season with these three designs to bring variety to your centerpiece.

These are three cute ideas that is inexpensive and tasteful. Dressing up your table and tapping into your creative side is a great way to bring in good cheer and vibes into your home. I suggest you try it. What do you think about these centerpeice ideas?Share your ideas in the comment section, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by. I'll talk to you later ☺
