Battlefield Of The Mind
In my opinion our mind is the most important muscle in our body. I went to church on today, the pastor spoke on how the devil sends negative thoughts to our mind to have us feeling down and hopeless. Negative thinking eventually turns into negative behavior if it’s not managed. When you are at your lowest points the negative thoughts speaks louder than the positive thoughts. I can attest to this, I experience negative thinking when I'm worried or afraid about something.
Everyday when I wake up I speak positive affirmations and I say to myself that today is going to be a good day and my day will go by smoothly. I try to think about positive outcomes and how I'm going to overcome my problems.
My opinion about how to develop positive thoughts is you have to release something to gain something. In order to gain positivity you have to release negativity. Creating a gratitude journal, speaking positive affirmations and having a positive self talk dialogue helps to build positive thoughts.
This is a strategy that I’m going to develop.
Lastly, I want to encourage you to protect your peace, your mind and to practice self care daily. Your mental health is as important as your physical health. If you're reading this I challenge you to take care of your mind and practice gratitude daily.
