I Stand For World Peace
I stand and pray for world peace. I pray that racism ends and that everyone treat each other with respect regardless of one's color, one's background, and one's socioeconomic status.
I pray that self hate ends. We should refrain from talking about one's hair, skin tone, body features. and clothing. We are more than the clothes we wear and the way our hair is worn. We have to get pass materialistic stuff and how people look. We have to start looking at person's heart. Alot of us has missed out on great relationships because we judge outwardly.
Within the African American race we need to support each other more. We need to patronize each other businesses whether it is a big business or small business. If a brother or sister opens up a restaurant, salon, boutique or if they are an consultant support he or she. Spread the word about their business by sharing or posting something positive about their business. What you make happen for others. God will make happen for you.
We need to stop killing one another over simple stuff. I've seen far too many senseless crimes on the news that could of been resolved. People need to learn how to control their emotions and think things through before taking someone's life. James 1:19 states, “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger”
Pass down good morals to your children. We need to be an example for the children. They learn by our actions, they are not mature yet to formulate sound reasoning so we are their only hope. If you want your children to grow up respectful to themselves and others, you need to model that for them.
Teach your children about bad and good consequences. Teach them how to regulate their emotions.Show them and practice with them some breathing techniques, ways to walk it out and how to stay calm in a conflict. If we learn how to de-escalate a problem the outcome will be much smoother and this will save you from a negative consequence.

We can eliminate self hate, we can love and support each other, we can model and practice good actions for better outcomes. Take a stand today and create peace.
