Me.. Tell Us A Little Bit About Yourself And Your Company?
Daniel.. I've been doing counseling for 16 years plus. I’ve became licensed in 2020. I opened my counsling services last year 2022. I’ve been learning since then and working with people within the community with a range of behavior issues to psychiatric issues.
2 .Me.. What made you choose counseling?
Daniel.. I’m a faith based person, and I wanted to follow my faith and help people. I saw an ad hiring for a Mental Health Technician, I’ve noticed some pros and cons, so I decided to go back to school to major in counseling.
3. Me.. Why do you think it's important for people to seek help?
Daniel… Our physical and mental health is synced. If a person gets sick, they go to the doctor. Our mental health is no different, we need help with working on our mood, behavior and relationship. We go for our annual check up with our doctor, when a person finds a therapist that's right for them, it's good for them to check in with their therapist to see how things are going with them mentally.
4. Me.. What are some of the treatment modalities you use in your one on one session?
Daniel.. Cognitive Behavior Therapy for persons dealing with trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Also I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy known as DBT to treat relationship issues, communication and mood and emotions.
