2024 BET AWARDS SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

I love hiphop, fashion, and creativity. I will be highlighting my favorite moments from the 2024 BET AWARDS SHOW. This year show is hosted by actress Taraji P. Henson. This is Taraji 3rd year hosting the BET AWARDS.

Prior to the BET AWARDS is the Red Carpet Pre-show that showcase the artist's fashions. Artists get to talk about their nominations, and who they will like to see hit the stage. There were a few performances on the Red Carpet Show. Terrance J, Pretty V and Tank were the host of the BET Red Carpet Pre-show. In my opinion they looked nice.

Lil 'Mo was my favorite performer on The Red Carpet Pre -Show. I love her songs especially the song she performed called “Superwoman”

The BET AWARDS aired at 8 p.m on BET and VH1.

Meagan Thee Stallion was the opening act. She looked beautiful per usual,she and her dancers were similarly dressed. If you know Meagan , you know she brought body, twirking, and etc.

Will Smith performed his new song ft. Kirk Franklin, they both collaborated well together.

Usher was honored for the BET Lifetime Achievement Award and he won Best R&B/Pop Male Artist Award.

Tyla was awarded Best New Artist

Victoria Monet was awarded the HER Award and Video Of The Year.

Chloe Bailey among others listed below graced the stage to perform Usher Raymond's hits prior to him going on stage to accept his BET Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Fugees rocked the stage after Usher accepted his award and gave his speech. I must mention The Fugees was my favorite group as a teen and as a young adult.

In closing the BET Awards was what I expected it to be. I enjoyed watching some of the performances. I loved how Taraji kept the show positive and entertaining. She literally gave people their flowers and she encouraged everyone to vote in the upcoming presidential elections. Everyone seem to have enjoyed themselves. In my opinion The 2024 BET AWARDS was awesome.
