Getting Ready For Christmas ☃️
How is your Christmas shaping up thus far. We have roughly a week before the actual day.Christmas is the holiday that most people look foward to. People who love Christmas try to enjoy every aspect of it. Some people begin putting up their Christmas tree and start pulling out the Christmas decorations a week before Thanksgiving. Retailers begin to stock Christmas items on shelves right after Halloween. During this time of the year I love watching Christmas shows the entire month. I love celebrating this day with my family and close friends. I’ve always enjoyed Christmas and the meaning behind it. As a child my parents decorated our home each year with a Christmas tree and they decorated the porch and scrubs around the house with lights. I loved when my mom went Christmas shopping and I watched her wrap the gifts and placed them under the tree. We listened to oldie Christmas songs on the radio which really made it felt like Christmas.
Fast foward to 2021, Christmas has a different feel. I like mixing in some modern day traditions with old traditions. I like riding with my husband and daughter to see the lights in our city and I like to be in the hustle and bustle of shopping for gifts and holiday treats. I love the festivities of it all.
